HELICOPTER FLIGHT TO LA JALDA WATERFALL

You will see the highest waterfall in the Caribbean, the Salto de la Jalda and enjoy yourselves on the wild Esmeralda beach.
It’s not easy to reach this waterfall and that may be the reason for its late discovery – only 50 years ago. But thanks to a fast helicopter, you will be there in 30 minutes! A stunningly beautiful, unspoilt nature and impenetrable jungles, which have been hiding the waterfall for so many years both from tourists and locals, will open in front of your eyes. The helicopters are designed for 4-6 people. Flights are carried out on Robinson 44 and Bell 206 helicopters (however, it’s not possible to book a helicopter of a specific model or color) Duration of the tour: 3-3.5 hours.

Program of the tour
Departure from your hotel at the specified time (the flights are held several times a day, your time will be specified upon booking). The time from Punta Cana resorts to the helicopter base is about 20 minutes. If you’re hotel is situated in Bayahíbe – 50 minutes.
On the Helipad you’ll have to sign the document about the risks of the flight. Don’t worry, it’s a standard procedure. ‘Helidosa’ is a famous company worldwide that ensures the safety of the passengers and thorough maintenance checks on each helicopter. Before taking off you may be weighed to estimate the total weight of all passengers for a convenient and smooth flight. The maximum weight of the passengers should not exceed 135 kilos.
Coffee, water, and juice will be offered while you will be signing the documents. There is also free Wi-Fi in the office. Please note that due to airspace closures or unfavourable weather conditions, the flight may be postponed for some time.
Then you’ll take off and have a breathtaking flight over the picturesque scenery of the Dominican Republic.
You’ll fly over the La Jalda waterfall (no landing). Then head towards Esmeralda beach where you will have some rest for about an hour and have light refreshments.
On your way back you are going to cruise over the landmarks of the Dominican Republic (30 minutes) Afterwards we fly back to the helipad where a transportation vehicle will take you to the hotel.
